The Judging Process
Below are the rules regarding the Judging Process
1. Selection of the Jury
The Award Jury comprises of social media industry leaders who are independent of the Social Media Marketing Institute.
They are industry leaders and volunteer their time to assist in the judging process.
Members of the Award Jury need to be impartial and must advise the Social Media Marketing Institute of any conflicts of interest. Jury members with a conflict of interest in a category, will not be eligible to judge that category.
Judging is based the criteria established for each award category as listed on the Award Categories page, the Call for Entries Booklet and the Award Entry Program.
3. Selection of Finalists and Winners
For each Award Category, a minimum of 3 Award Jury Members will judge the entries for that category. They will select the finalists who will then be judged by the Winners Jury Panel to determine the winner.
The Awards Jury will select a maximum of 5 finalists with the highest scores per category.
5. Award Jury Decision
The decision of the jury is final for each award category. No correspondence or communication will be entered into with either the Social Media Marketing Institute or members of the awards jury regarding the outcome of the awards.
