TERMS AND CONDITIONS FOR ENTRIES

  • Social Media Marketing Institute Pty Ltd  ABN 60 614 628483 is the owner of the Social Media Marketing Awards.  All enquiries in regards to entry related matters should be directed to awards@smminstitute.com.au.  
  • All entries must be made online through the Award Platform 
  • No alterations can be made to nominations after the date of submission. 
  • The Social Media Marketing Awards program is only open to individuals or teams based in Australia and New Zealand 
  • Entries will be put forward to the Awards Jury only if the entrant is a current member of the Social Media Marketing Institute by close of entry.  Late payment may not be accepted. 
  • Where the entry is an organisation, the person competing the nomination must be an authorised representative of the organisation and a member of the Social Media Marketing Institute. 
  • Entries that contain pornographic material, “hate” messages, make defamatory statements or that are otherwise offensive,  are not eligible to win a Social Media Marketing Award.
  • Entries will be put forward to the Awards Jury only if they meet the Eligibility Requirements set down for the Category of the Entry. 
  • All information submitted as a part of the Entry must be true, complete and correct as at the Close of Entries  
  • Ineligible entries may be disqualified at any phase of the competition without notification.
  • Entries that have not been live on a social media page during the judging period will not be eligible to enter.  This is important as it applies to spec work (work not commissioned or paid for by a client or media entity) that you may consider entering. 
  • Once paid, entries are non-refundable and not transferrable to any other person or organisation. 
  • Entry fees do not include insurance of any kind. 
  • By uploading material (including images, photography and/or video) you grant the Social Media Marketing Awards and Social Media Marketing Institute an irrevocable, permanent right to use this material in any way to promote the entry.  
  • All entries are treated with the strictest confidence.  No written content from an entry will be released unless the entry becomes a category finalist. 
  • Media releases will be distributed to the media. Media may request interviews and photographs of Category Finalists and their business 
  • Unless the entrant notifies the Social Media Marketing Institute in writing, the Entrant agrees the the Social Media Marketing Institute may provide their contact details to the sponsors and partners. 
  • The decision made by the Social Media Marketing Awards Jury is final and no correspondence will be entered into.
